Lynda Hurtt grew up in Crystal, ND.  She currently lives in Hoople, ND with her husband, Lowell.  They have a daughter Tiffany (27).

She is a CPA with HD Tax & Accounting and is an owner of that business.  She currently is the Treasurer of the Park River Bible Camp. She also co-chairs the annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner.

She is a member of First Lutheran Church of Hoople where she has served on the board for several years. She has also taught Sunday School and been a leader of the Youth Group.  She has also chaired the annual church dinner for over 25 years. She is passionate about children being involved with the church and its ministry.

Pastor Karl Breddin

Pastor Karl split his childhood growing up in Des Moines, Iowa and overseas in Papua New Guinea.  He started working at Bible camp (Atlantic Mountain Ranch in the Black Hills) during summers while attending college at Augustana in Sioux Falls, SD.  He has worked on year-round Bible Camp staff at Outlaw Ranch in the Black Hills and Luther Crest in Alexandria, MN.  Working at Bible camp affirmed Karl’s gifts, grew his faith and was where he met his wife, Rebecca.  They have three children and are both ELCA pastors and graduates of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN.  He has served as pastor of United Lutheran Church in Langdon since 2014.

Nona Hove

Nona grew up in Washburn, ND next to the Missouri River. She currently lives in Park River with her husband, Eric. They are blessed with two daughters; Taylia (20) and Emma (10). 

She graduated from Mayville State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Teaching is her passion and she gets to live it everyday working as a kindergarten teacher at Valley-Edinburg. 

Church has always been an important part of Nona’s life. She has been teaching Sunday School or AWANA for the past 15 years. Summers at camp are some of her favorite childhood memories and her hope is that every child gets to have those memories and feel God’s love for them!
