Family Fun Day
Saturday, July 28
There will be a variety of “go at your own pace” activities for families with young children. The day will begin at 10am and wrap up at 4pm.
Cost: $5/person. Children three and under attend for free. Concessions will be available.
1st-2nd Grade Day Camp
June 28, July 12, July 16, July 30
A jam-packed day filled with Bible studies, games, crafts, skits, and great counselors. Bring a day pack with a swimming suit, towel, and Bible. They will arrive at 9:15am and the closing program starts at 6:30pm. The camp store will be open afterward.
Cost: $33 if registerd by May 1, $38 after May 1.
3rd-4th Grade Mini Camp
July 18-20, August 1-3
This mini camp includes two days and nights with friends, games, swimming, Bible studies, learning, and growing in Christ!
Cost: $88 if registerd by May 1, $94 after May 1.
Note: Those finishing fourth grade have the option of attending Mini Camps, Adventure Camps, or both.
4th-6th Grade Adventure Camp
June 24-29, July 22-27, August 5-10
Come join our counselors for campfires, canoeing at Homme Dam, low adventure course, sbatting cages, music and worship of our God, and Bible studies! The climbing tower is offered as an afternoon activity.
Cost: $214 if registered by May 1, $234 after May 1.
Note: Those finishing fourth grade have the option of attending Mini Camps, Adventure Camps, or both.
6th-8th Grade Sports Camp
July 15-20
It’s time to get your game face on at Park River Bible Camp. Our experienced coaches will provide quality training and instruction in basketball and/or volleyball. There will be Bible studies, worship, and campfires. The climbing tower will be offered as an afternoon activity.
Cost: $228 if registered by May 1, $234 after May 1.
7th-8th Grade Junior High Classic*
July 29-August 3
You are invited to join us for campfires, games, friends, and a Christian rock concert. There will be an afternoon of canoeing at either Homme Dam or Icelandic State Park. Campers will participate in Bible studies, optional adventures ont he ropes course and climbing tower, all while experiencing solid Christian growth.
Cost: $228 if registered by May 1, $248 after May 1.
7th-9th Grade Wilderness Camp
June 24-27
Three nights spent in God’s great ourdoors including cast iron cooking, climbing tower (at no extra cost), fishing and canoeing at Homme Dam, Bible studies, campfires, swimming, and nature hikes.
Cost: $110 if registered by May 1, $120 after May 1.
9th-12th Grade Senior High Power Surge*
July 8-13
You will have an absolute blast with great Christian fellowship, morning Bible studies, a day at Icelandic State Park or canoeing at Homme Dam, and a trip to the Park River pool. Campers can also have adventures on the high ropes course, the climbing tower, and low adventure course, all while making new friends. There will be great speakers and a rock band at the evening worship sessions.
Cost: $237 if registered by May 1, $256 after May 1.
10th-12th Grade Discipleship Camp **NEW**
June 24-29
This training will combine elements of camp life along with theological instruction designed to prepare studens for ministry. Students who have successfully completed this week may be eligible to serve as an assistant counselor during any of the following 2012 summer sessions with the exception of senior high week. Counselor’s assistants have the opportunity to lead a Bible study and evening devotion with other activities.
Cost: $214 if registered by May 1, $234 after May 1. Space is limited.
10th-12th Grade Tent Out
July 26-27
This camp is complete with Bible study, worship, and epic games. This night spent out in the woods promises to be a great time. The tent out will begin on Thursday at 5pm with registration, followed by supper, and will end Friday at noon.
Cost: $25. Space is limited.
*High Ropes Course
All Junior High Classic and Senior High Power Surge campers will have a high ropes session as part of the camp program. There is no extra cost for this, but individual campers may opt out. Campers having finished 5th-12th grades also have the option of choosing to participate in the Climbing Tower during afternoon activiteis for a $10 fee.
Parents of all campers participating in either activity need to fill out and submit the Challenge Course Participant Health History and Permission Form (pdf).
Camperships
It is our commitment that every child can afford to attend Park River Bible Camp. Because of generous gifts designated for this purpose, we are able to offer camperships to those in need of them.
