We are a Christ-centered, Lutheran ministry. Our mission statement reads that PRBC is "a camping and retreating ministry for all ages that encourages a faith relationship with Jesus Christ. . ." Being a Christ-centered camp, we desire to help our campers have living faith in Jesus Christ. Being Lutheran, we hold to the confessional understandings of faith, salvation, grace, sin, the Church, and the sacraments.

We are a diverse ministry. We have many different programs for all age groups: Camping and Retreating for youth throughout the entire year; a Vacation Bible School program throughout the summer; our Evangelism Festival for the community; the Fall Gathering for Senior Citizens; weekly Bible studies for high schoolers; youth concerts with the likes of Geoff Moore, Three Crosses, and Grover Levy; and more!

We have excellent grounds, facilities, and program structures. We are located on about 80 acres of property 6 miles west of Park River, ND. (That's about an hour northwest of Grand Forks, ND.) We have a chapel that seats 800, a winterized Fireside Room that seats 120, a year-round Retreat Center with cabins, a gym, a fellowship room, and kitchen. We can currently hold about 168 people in our 17 rustic cabins, and will be adding more space to accommodate our growth. We also have a 220 foot waterslide that is a popular way to cool off, and a Low Initiatives Challenge Course with four elements. We also added a High Initiatives Challenge Course; both the Low and High courses greatly enhance Bible studies through active adventure learning.

We are available and flexible. We will bend over backwards to accommodate churches in their ministry of the gospel. Our facilities are available for rent to groups and churches for a very reasonable cost, and we can simply let you have the facilities or we can construct a program for you.
